Leaving from the Pavillon du Tourisme, set off along the left bank of the Gère to discover this Viennese district behind the scenes. Urbanised since ancient times, this river has undergone a number of developments linked to the development of industrial activities (19th and 20th centuries).
Take advantage of this walk to visit the Textile Industry Museum. The collection of machines shows the entire fabric production cycle, illustrated by numerous samples from Vienna's major factories.
The tour also includes a climb to the Pipet belvedere, from where you can enjoy a breathtaking view of the city and the Rhône valley.
