The ViaGusta: a gastronomic itinerary along the Rhône!
Get on board for the ViaGusta! A unique bistronomic escapade, by bike or on foot, along the ViaRhôna, the emblematic bicycle path linking Lake Geneva to the Mediterranean.
From Vienne to Condrieu, between river and vineyards, let yourself be guided along a 9km gourmet itinerary that transforms into a veritable open-air restaurant. Over five tasty stages, from aperitif to dessert, enjoy the best of local produce in a convivial atmosphere!
Each years, several renowned local chefs will be coaching the brigade of a hundred students from the Lycée Hôtelier de l’Institution Robin to pass on their know-how.
The region’s various wine and cheese appellations were also present for this challenge: the emblematic Rigotte de Condrieu, Triomphe de Vienne pear juice, as well as the wines of Vienne-Seyssuel, Côte-Rôtie, Condrieu and Saint-Joseph, for fine food and wine pairings…
Maitre d’hôtel at every step, service by the plate… La ViaGusta is a veritable “open-air restaurant”!
