With this Wine Notes, let yourself be swept away by the poetry and gentleness of the great voices of folk music with ‘Joni Mitchell and Friends’. The trio of Emmanuelle Duvillard and Frédérique Brun (vocals), accompanied on piano by Philippe Khoury, gracefully revisit the great standards of Anglo-American folk music, from Joni Mitchell to Sting, via David Crosby, James Taylor and many other icons.
With two voices, ten fingers and a subtle touch of jazz, this concert offers a suspended moment of emotion, complicity and elegance. Each cover is reinterpreted with finesse and originality, in a musical universe that's both intimate and luminous, perfect for this summer evening!
