Tastings and cellar tours at Domaine Les Vins de Vienne
Throughout the weekend, a number of wineries will be opening their doors to the public, giving them a chance to immerse themselves in the daily lives of the winemakers and discover their different crus.
Description
The story of Les Vins de Vienne began in 1996, when 3 brilliant winegrowers - Yves Cuilleron (Domaine Cuilleron), Pierre Gaillard (Domaine Pierre Gaillard) and François Villard (Domaine François Villard) - came up with the idea of replanting a few vines on the very old Seyssuel vineyard, on the left bank of the Rhône, upstream from Vienne. Today, Vins de Vienne covers 18 hectares of vines and has won unanimous acclaim from wine lovers and critics alike in the Condrieu, Côte-Rôtie and Collines Rhodaniennes appellations.
