Dancing Wine Notes at Maison Colombier
To celebrate Wine Notes, enjoy a dance performance by the Centre de danse Jeanmougin, in the warm setting of the Maison Colombier!
Description
Bewitching, lively and acrobatic, dance is a multi-faceted art form that goes perfectly with the tasting of various pear-based products!
For an hour, Christophe Jeanmougin, a qualified dance master, and his dancers interpret the subtle aromas of pear brandy through inspired choreography. This unprecedented encounter between movement and tasting offers an original and poetic way of discovering this drink - to the delight of lovers of sensations and curiosities.
This dance show is a great opportunity to discover Maison Colombier and its exceptional products. It's home to one of the oldest Williams pear orchards in France! It was in the 1930s, in Villette-de-Vienne, that the famous pear brandy was born, thanks to the meeting between Joannès Colombier, a tree grower, and Fernand Point, the head chef at La Pyramide in Vienne.
Today, Sophie and Stéphane Jay perpetuate this know-how in the family orchards, where they carefully craft pear liqueurs and a host of by-products. At Maison Colombier, everything is done by hand, from picking to bottling. Drop into their shop and you'll be greeted with passion and generosity!
