Take advantage of your visit to explore the Jardin des Mésanges and its aromatic herbs, ancient vegetables, medicinal plants, etc.
On your own or with a friend, you can also discover how the products are made when you visit the shop.
Philippe Bruneton was born in the heart of the Monts du Lyonnais, in Vaugneray, into a large family. His mother, Marie Louise, cooked a lot to feed the many mouths in her household. As a result, Philippe was introduced to family cooking at a very early age. Vegetables from the garden, milk and meat from the neighbouring farm provided the ingredients for the tasty simmered meals that introduced Philippe to good food and eating well.
After taking part in the 48th Intersuc international confectionery show in Paris in 2003, he was awarded the Bronze Trophy for the best jam and joined the Ordre des Maîtres Confituriers de France, where he met Francis MIOT. This title gave him access to the Best Jam Maker in France competition in 2004, and that was the crowning achievement: he was awarded the title of Best Jam Maker in France.
