Crossed by the A7 highway, it is a gateway to the south, as well as being a strategic crossroads linking the major North/South and East/West European routes. Travelling by train
Thanks to the rail network, Vienne is only 20 minutes by TER from Lyon! From Paris, Avignon, Marseille or Valence, TGV trains take you to Lyon or Valence, from where a TER train will take you directly to Vienne. Book your journey on SNCF Connect.

Travelling by bike
Cycling enthusiasts can reach Vienne on the ViaRhôna itinerary, which links Lake Geneva to the Mediterranean.

The A7 highway runs right through the region, providing fast, direct access. From Lyon, it takes just 30 minutes by car, while Grenoble and Saint-Étienne are around 1 hour away. If you’re coming from Geneva or Marseille, the A7 and A43 highways provide easy access to Vienne.

Travelling by plane
