Description

Between tradition and modernity, Geneva has preserved its authenticity while developing a rich international activity. ViaRhôna takes you through the vineyards of Geneva on small roads and signposted greenways to the gateway to the Alps, surrounded by lush greenery.

Public WC at the Centre Ecla parking lot in Vulbens.
A stopover for cycle tourists in the commune of Chevrier, offering bike parking, shade, a water point and public toilets.

  • Marking accuracy Depending on the area you cross, you'll find different types of signposting with the ViaRhôna logo and EuroVelo 17 identifier.
  • Delicate passage Warning between Geneva and Seyssel: this section of the ViaRhôna is reserved for hardened and determined cyclists. Its route, topography and motorized traffic make it inadvisable for families and leisure cyclists.
